Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need my veterinarians approval?

Yes! You need veterinary approval before starting any treatments with me. WE want to make sure everything we do is in the best interest of your horse.

With that said- I am more than happy to speak with any vet in regards to treatments , send them any info they request as well as send them any specific reading on your horse I find. They are also more than welcome to come to the appointment themselves and watch!

Why can’t I book 1 treatment to try it out?

These treatments are cumulative- meaning they build on one another. We start out with a minimum of three to create a good foundation so that the results have a chance to take hold. I want you to be able to see the changes in your horse and for your horse to get the most out of what we’re doing. One treatment alone rarely creates the foundation needed to see that change.

Can my friends come watch?

Yes! I’m glad to answer any questions I can and I want you to be comfortable and understand what I’m doing. If you want a friend or family member to be around for that then bring them with you. As long as your horse is comfortable with the crown than so am I.

What about my chiropractor?

I love chiroprators! My horse has one too and Acuscope treatments are great for before or after a chiropractic appointment. Treatment before an appointment will make your horse easier to adjust and treatment after can help those adjustments last longer.

How does the Acuscope work?

What kind of gel is that?

I use EquiSol gel which is the only substance provided by Animal Therapy Systems for use on the animal calibrated Electro-Acuscope and Myopulse System. It is formulated to create the best connection with the least amount of interference between the instrument and your horse.

Equisol comes in two colors- yellow and green. The green gel contains essential oils, the yellow gel does not.
